To be honest, I have to admit that this has been one of the worse weeks in the longest, yet I'm sure that what made it worse is the fact that I haven't really been able to sleep well. Even though we finally set up a survaillance system at home to protect our home from unwanted changes, I have to admit that my patience is gone with my neighbors. It doesn't matter how friendly you are or how nicely you speak to her, she always knows how to tick me off by letting her kids hit our wall, not letting us park in a driveway that belongs to her landlord and us, and saying that she should charge us for using the driveway. She even complains because we have a water hose at the side of our house. Hello, that is still part of our house, so yes, we can have a water hose there.
The worse day of all was Thursday, when she tried to nail some pieces of wood to cover one of our house vents, those are the holes that every house has at the bottom so that the basement and bottom of the house can be vented. We had had enough. We called the cops and apparently nothing could be done since we did not have concrete proof of what she was doing, so, wala, we put up a survaillance system. Tomorrow, Monday, the chief of police will be coming over to her house to speak with her and hopefully finally write down a police report. I really do have hope that this hell will finally be over once and for all. It's so sad that everything had to get to this point, but really, what are you really willing to do for a piece of mind? Just the fact that now all the damage done to our home will be recorded is enough for me to know that one day justice will be done and that what this lady has done to our home will be punished once and for all. Since she doesn't seem to believe in having a decent conversation with us without treathening that we will pay for what we are doing, we had to take the proper measures to protect our home and at the same time protect ourselves.
